Vision Quest 2009 was SICK! I am totally stoked about the experience and like the last two years, it was a unique experience for sure. I have a full race report on the way but I just wanted to get some quick “log” stuff down…

After giving a spin on Paul’s bike a few weeks back I have really been thinking about going 2 x 9 on my bike or maybe even a 1 x 9 setup. Saturday Morning I had the privilege of joining about five hundred other mountain bikers for the Warriors Society‚Äôs 2008 POW WOW event held up and down the Santa Ana Mountain mountain range in Orange County, CA. The events lined up for the day were the Counting Coup at over 44 miles and 8,000+ feet of climbing and the Vision Quest at over 56 miles and 11,000+ feet of climbing. Sounds like fun. Just another perfect weekend in the OC. . . The day was SUPER clear, warm and perfect for exploring out little world in company of the best of friends. We are blessed beyond measure and we often pull off weekends that have little plans but fall into place like magic. I would not have/could not have planned a better weekend…
